This policy explains what data the App accesses, why, where it is stored, and who it is shared with. It applies to merchants who install the App on their Shopify store and to the customer information contained in their orders.

When you install and use the App, it accesses the following data from your Shopify store through Shopify's official API:
The App requests access to customer name and address only. It does not request customer phone numbers, email addresses, payment information, or any customer data beyond what is needed to complete a certificate.
Data is used solely to generate, display, and store certificates of origin on your behalf. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the App's function. We do not sell data.
Generated certificates, which contain the order and certifier details described above, are stored by the App as a convenience so that you can retrieve and download them later. The App is not the system of record for your certificates. You, as the merchant and certifier, are responsible for retaining certificates of origin to meet your own legal and customs obligations (commonly at least five years). You should download and keep your own copies of any certificates you need.

These providers process data only to provide their infrastructure services. We do not share data with any other third parties.
You can delete individual certificate records at any time within the App. If a customer submits a data deletion request through Shopify, the App deletes the stored certificate copies containing that customer's information. When you uninstall the App, the stored copies of your certificates are deleted. Because the App is only a convenience copy and not your system of record, you should download and retain any certificates you need before requesting deletion or uninstalling.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, or to restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@tooeasyai.co. As the App processes customer data on your behalf, requests from your customers should be directed to you as the merchant; we will assist you in responding.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
